Michael Dooley (Jnr) (Old Callan Road, Kilkenny City) suddenly on 4th January 2026 surrounded by his loving and devoted family in St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny. Michael will be greatly missed by his heartbroken family, son Tommy, daughter Kirsten, his dad and mam Mick and Rose (née Power), grandchildren Harper-Rose and Penny, brother John, nieces, nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
MAY MICHAEL REST IN PEACE
Michael will repose in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Saturday 10th January 2026 from 4pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday (11th) in St. Mary’s Cathedral at 12 noon followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery.

The Dooley Family would like to express their sincere thanks to The Emergency Services, in particular The Ambulance Personnel and Advanced Paramedics HSE and to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff in the Emergency Department in St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny who came to Michael’s assistance and also to Noel Murphy Ayrlfield HSE who cared for Michael at home.
