Michael Downey
DOWNEY (Cork) on November 2nd, 2021 (peacefully) at Farranlea Community Nursing Unit, MICHAEL, Hillcrest Rise, Blarney Road, (late Window Cleaner). Beloved husband of Bridie (nee O’Keeffe), loving father of Neilus & James and brother of Noreen, Neilus, John and the late David & William. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren Kadie, Scott, Michael & Abi, brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, daughters-in-law Caroline & Trish, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends, especially Ray.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Thursday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Mary’s on the Hill , Knocknaheeney at 10:45am on Friday for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Curraghkippane.
