DOWNEY (Lisduff, Whitechurch, Co. Cork): On 9th July 2024 peacefully, in his 99th year surrounded by his loving family, in the outstanding care of St. Bridget’s Ward, Bon Secours Hospital, MICHAEL, dearly beloved husband of the late Maureen (née O’Callaghan), much loved brother of Julia and the late Paddy, Aggie, Bessie and Peggy, dear brother-in-law of the late Kitty, Nora, Pat, Denis and Con, loving uncle of the late Margaret.

Deeply regretted by his sister, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, exceptional carers, friends, especially his dog Jack.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (July 11th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Friday (July 12th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Whitechurch

Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
