Michael Dunne

The death has occurred of Michael Dunne Marshalstown, Mitchelstown/Shraharla, Co. Cork, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Cork University Hospital on the 9th September, 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Alice, sisters Kathleen Clifford, Sr. Mary Clare and St. Elizabeth (Betty) (Saint Pauls).

Dearly missed by his wife Helen, children Michelle, John, Conor and Anne, brother Fr. Sean (Society of African Missions), sisters Alice (O’ Leary) and Anne (O’ Reilly), daughters in law Lisa (Harrington), Colette (McGrath), son in law Dermot McCarthy, grandchildren Ellen, Molly, Jack, Kevin and Annalise, sister in law Ailis Buckley , brothers in law Kevin O’ Leary and Ned O’ Keeffe, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81, on Friday (12th September) from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by removal to Shraharla Church, V35 YV79.

Requiem Mass on Saturday (13th September) at 2 p.m. Burial afterwards in Kildorrery New Cemetery, GPS coordinates 52.24538, -8.42673.
