Michael 'Dykes' Treacy
Michael “Dykes” Treacy, 7th July 2025, formerly of Turlough Road, Castlebar after a short illness surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Rushmore Nursing Home, Knocknacarra, Galway.
Beloved husband of Pauline and dedicated dad to Terri, Bree, and Catherine. Sadly missed by his family, sons in law Robert, Ray and Owen, grandchildren David, Anna, Lucy, Méabh, Gráinne, Eoghan and Dáire, brother Tom, sisters Mary Hennessy and Anne O’Higgins, sister-in-law Kay, brothers in law Michael and the late Padraic, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his former colleagues and customers in Newport, County Mayo.

Michael will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Thursday (10th July) from 6 -7pm. Removal from Coady’s Funeral Home on Friday morning at 10.45 a.m for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. Michael will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar Old Cemetery.
