| At home after a very courageous battle with illness. Beloved husband of Bernadette (Cleal). Loving father of Niamh and Liam. A strong and determined man who was proud to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces. His humour, love, support and drive will be sorely missed. Dearest son of Tommy and Mary Egan. Predeceased by Patrick; survived by siblings Gerard, Helen, Thomas and Patricia. Michael will also be missed by many relatives and friends in Gananoque, Canada and Thurles, Co Tipperary. May He Rest in Peace. Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday, 26th July, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 27th July, at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles. The Mass can be viewed at www.thurlesparish.ie.
