It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Michael Fanning Snr, who passed away peacefully on February 16th at Mallow General Hospital after a short illness.

 

Michael of Pike Road, Fermoy, and Clondulane. Deeply beloved husband and best friend of Mary (née Neligan), Loving father of the late Annette and Shane.

 

Sadly, missed by his loving wife Mary, Sons Michael, Eamon, Mark, and daughter Catherine. Adored grandfather to Aisling, Michéal, Áine, Katie, Deirdre, Róisin, Soraya, Laoise, and Ewa. Daughters in law's, Maggie, Susan, Genevieve, Brigid. Sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, Nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Martin Neligan & Sons Funeral Home, The Old Train Station, Fermoy. (P61 K682), This Thursday, February 19th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Reception into St Patrick’s Church, Fermoy, for Requiem Mass on Friday, February 20th at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Kilcrumper New Cemetery.
