The death has occurred of
Michael Francis Turnbull
Turnbull (Leap): On February 10th, 2026 unexpectedly in the tender and loving care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Cork University Hospital, Michael Francis Turnbull, Leap and formally Barnoldswick, Lancashire, England, beloved husband of Katherine, and wonderful stepfather to Heather (Shanahan), and Fiona (McDonald). He is predeceased by his loving parents Sir Francis and Lady Turnbull.
Deeply regretted by his heart-broken wife, step-daughters, a caring and loving grandfather to Michael Arthur, Fiona and Jane, stepfather-in-law to Mike Shanahan and Paul McDonald, brothers Robert and John, extended family, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Sunday 15th February from 2pm to 3pm. Cremation service will take place on Monday, 16th February at 2pm in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.
