The death has occurred of Michael Freeman, Ballyknockan, Wicklow.

Freeman, Michael, late of Carechoice Nursing Home, Swords, Dublin formerly Ballyknockan, Wicklow and Kilmore West, Dublin – 30th September 2024 peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff of Carechoice Nursing Home, Swords, deeply regretted by his devoted wife and best friend Angela of 68 years, his loving children Sheila, Sylvia, John, Joan, sons in law Paul, Jim, Fran, daughter in law Bernadette, Grandchildren Martin, Stephen, James, Sinead, Adam, Amy May, Luke, Ciaran, Ava and their partners, Great Grandchildren Daniel, Katie, Gabriella, Millie, Angela, Myla, sisters in law, brother in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends and all who knew him. Pre-deceased by his father James, mother Julia, sister’s Mary, Tess and brother Larry and remembering his granddaughter Nicole.

Reposing at Rocks Funeral Home, North Street, Swords, Dublin on Wednesday, 2nd October, from 1pm to 3.00pm and reposing in Clarkes Funeral Home, Blessington, Wicklow W91 YN79 on Thursday, 3rd October, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Friday 4th October via Ballyknockan to St Joseph’s Church, Valleymount, for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Burgage Cemetery, Blessington, Wicklow.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired, in lieu, to Cancer Research and Dementia.
