Michael Friel of Leedale, Caherslee, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly Dunaff, Clonmany, Co. Donegal, died peacefully on 8th October 2025, beloved husband of Breda and dearest father of James and Michael.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Elly & Rowan, daughters-in-law Brenda & Sarah, brothers Danny, Bernard, Gerard, Christy and John, sister Teresa Ann, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Rest in Peace.

Michael will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday (10th October) from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. where the Requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated at 1 p.m. (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). Followed by Private Cremation.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. (via “Donation” link below – Kerry Hospice Foundation), or care of The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
