Michael (Gaff) Gaffney

and formerly of Saint Laurence's Terrace,

and late of Cherry's Brewery Waterford.

 

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Tuesday 10th February 2026 R.I.P.

 

Predeceased by his beloved parents Leslie and Agnes née Doyle and baby infant son.

 

Loving and much loved father of Jennifer, Tonia, Mark and Michael, he will be sadly missed by his adoring grandchildren Dylan, Danica, Reece, Mollie, Mia, Tadhg, Oisín, Fiadh and Lugh, great-grandchildren Axel and Enzo, Michael will be fondly remembered by his brother Eddie, daughters-in-law Laura and Tracey, sister-in-law Liz, extended family and friends.

 

May his gentle and kind soul rest in everlasting peace.

 

Michael's Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore (X91 TW21) on Thursday the 12th of February from 1pm to 3pm.

 

As per Michael's wishes a private cremation will take place at a later date.

 

Michael's family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff of Comfort Keepers and The Palliative Care Team, for the exceptional and loving care given. It was all greatly appreciated.
