The death has occurred of
Michael Gaffney
Gaffney, South Green, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 11th September 2020, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Michael, dearly loved husband of Monica (Mona) (née Whelan), loving father of Brian, Seán, Siún, Brenda, Nora and Cathal, treasured brother of Christopher and Ann and the late Nuala. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren Katie, Emma, Grace, Daire, Michael, Síofra, Padraig, Karen, Shauna, Stephen and Jack, brother, sister, sons-in-law James and John, daughter-in-law Julie, Cathal’s partner Jackie, Seán’s partner Yvonne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

We appreciate all the love and support from our family and friends. As we are legally bound, to follow the guidelines set out for us by government, it is necessary for our beloved Michael to have a private funeral, if you wish you can join in the celebration of Michael’s reception prayers at 7pm on Monday evening and his funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 10am, via www.arklowparish.ie/webcam/ burial afterwards in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
