Michael Gavin

Gavin Michael, (Marino and late of Tullinahoo, Swinford, Co. Mayo and An Garda Síochána) – 15th, February 2026 – peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Nazareth House Nursing Home, Malahide Road; beloved husband of Angela, loving father of Michael, Fintan (Bishop), Sheena, Darragh, Donna and Morgan Francis (Fr.) and the late Conor, cherished grandad to Conor, Liam, Sinéad, Cathal, Seán, Killian, Bróna, Niall, Aoife, Ciarán, Aisling, Cara, Cian, Dáithí and Bláithín and great-grandad to Nevaeh, Kaiyah and Fíadh.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, Derek and David, daughters-in-law Jacquie, Nuala and Emma, brother John, sisters Marion and Patricia, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Michael will be reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Wednesday (18th, February) from 5pm to 7pm, with family in attendance.

Removal to the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino on Thursday (19th, February) for 12 Noon Requiem Mass followed by burial at Balgriffin Cemetery.
