The death has occurred of
Michael Gibbons (better known as 'Mixie')
Michael Gibbons (better known as Mixie), Toorglass, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the Blackrocks Nursing Home, Foxford on 25th August 2025.
Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Gibbons and his brother Patrick.
Beloved brother of Sean, Mary, Eamon and Kathleen. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Mixie will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with the funeral arriving at the Church of Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 7.30. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle Old Cemetery.
