Michael Gilsenan, Newcastle, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, 14th January 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his parents Peter and Moyra, brothers Jackie and Tommy and sister Mary.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Joan, sons Gerard (Joanne) and Martin (Wong) and his daughter Maura (Ishwar) his grandchildren Dylan, Samuel, Andrew and Evie, his sisters Nancy, Terri and Bernie, brothers Fr. Peter, Benny, Fr. Patrick and Paul, sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Michael will be reposing at his home (A82 KN52) on Thursday and Friday for family and friends. Michael’s Funeral Mass will take place in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle on Saturday morning at 11.00am, followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, (Crematorium family only).
