Michael Godley

Michael Godley, Ard Carraig, Caherslee, Tralee and formerly of Dromature, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on March 24th, 2026, beloved husband of Peggy, cherished father of Michael, Karen, Brenda & Richard, brother of Phil, Joseph, Maureen, Margaret and the late Fr. Paddy, Jack, Eily (Sr. Helen), Breda (Hickey) and Lilly (Healy).

Sadly missed by his loving family, his adored grandchildren Michael, Jenny, Emma, Ruby & Evie, his great-grandson James and his Mum Eimear, daughter-in-law Maria, son-in-law Simon, Karen’s partner Lars, brothers-in-law Pat, Richard & Jerry Moloney and Gerald Hickey, sisters-in-law Mary Horan (Castleisland) & Mary Godley, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Michael will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday (27th March) from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated at 11.00 a.m. (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). Interment afterwards in Rath Lawn Cemetery, Tralee.
