Michael Haig

The death has occurred of Michael Haig, Clash Road Little Island and Cork Road, Co. Waterford.

It is with deep sadness, we announce the sudden death of Michael, who passed away unexpectedly on the 6th August, 2025, dearly beloved husband of Niamh (nee Smyth), loving father of Fiona, Brian and Eoin, much loved father-in-law of Hugh, Elise and Mia, adored grandad of Frank, Cliodhna, Isabelle, Oisín, Léo, Breandán, Seán, Micheál and Colm, dear brother of Deirdre, Danny, Brian, Terence and the late Jimmy.

Will be very sadly missed by extended family, colleagues, friends and neighbours.

 

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Sunday (August 10th) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Monday (August 11th) at 11.00am in St. Joseph’s Church, Little Island.

 

Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island.

 

Michael’s family would like to thank all first responders and friends for their assistance.
