Michael Hastings

The death has occurred on the 17th March 2023 of Michael Hastings, in his 75th year, Carrarevaugh, Liscarney, Westport, peacefully, at Sonas Riverview Nursing Home, Ballina, in the presence of his family. Predeceased by his parents Peter & Ellie and brother Patrick. 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Maura (née Barrett), beloved sons David, Peter, Conor (Carrarevaugh), Darren (Perth, Australia), daughters Louise Murphy (Drummindoo), Deirdre Carolan (Carrowholly), Fiona Dobrowolska (Carrarevaugh), his brother Martin Hastings (Manchester & Carrarevaugh), sisters Maureen Flynn (Westport), Bridie Talty (Cleveland, Ohio), Evelyn Cosgrove(Bangor Erris), Marian O’Malley (Liscarney), Ann Friel (Drummin), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and 12 grandchildren, extended family and friends. 

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at Cushlough Community Centre, Carrowkennedy, on Tuesday 28th March, from 5pm - 7pm, with removal from his home in Carrarevaugh, on Wednesday, 29th March, to The Church of The Sacred Heart, Cushlough, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
