Michael (Haulie) Downey

The death has occurred of Michael (Haulie) Downey of 2 Sullane Crescent, Raheen and Shanid, Shanagolden, Co. Limerick.

Peacefully at home on September 12th 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents James and Nora, brothers Pat and Moss and his sister Nora.

Deeply missed by his wife Mary (Nèe O'Carroll), children Tracy, Aisling, Maurice and Leonora, sisters Mary, Nuala, brothers Jim and Ned, grand children Mai, Padraic, Brian, James, Michael, Jim, Jennifer, Cormac, Sean, Robert, Linda and David, sons in law Pat, Tom and Denis, daughter in law Catherine and extended family and friends.

Reposing at St. Senan's Church, Shanagolden (Eircode V94 T882) on Monday 15th September from 5pm - 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 16th September at 11.30am in St. Nessan's Church Raheen (Eircode V94 DE98) and can be viewed online using church services web cam followed by burial in Reilig Mhuire, Askeaton.
