The death has occurred of Michael Hennessy, 7 Park View, Shanagolden, Co. Limerick on 23/11/2025.

Michael passed away peacefully at Abbot Close Nursing Home, Askeaton, Co Limerick. Often seen on the roads around Shanagolden training for marathons, he has now hung-up his running shoes for good. A great husband to his wife, father to his children and support to his friends. He will be very deeply missed by sons Mark & Matthew, daughter Kim, his grandchildren, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, wider family and friends.

Reposing at Madigan's Funeral Home, Shanagolden this Wednesday (26th November) from 6pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (27th November) at 12noon in St. Senan's Church, Shanagolden and can be viewed online by clicking on the link below with burial afterwards in Lismakeera Cemetery, Askeaton.
