HOEY, Michael (Sutton formerly of Killester and Irish Independent Newspapers) - July 7, 2021, (peacefully) in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, in the warm embrace of his family, Michael, beloved husband of Judy and the late Betty Gaffney, he is the cherished dad of Carole, Eamonn, Thomas, Margaret and Deirdre; deeply regretted by his loving family, step sons, Daniel, Nick and James, daughters & sons in law Ruth, Maura, Dave, Milla, Grainne and Emma, (and the late Declan Morris), grandchildren Rebecca, Ciaran, Alan, Graham, Derek, Isaac, Alex, Sam, Ellen, Emma, Megan, Rhiannon, Orla and Noah, great- grandchildren Franzi, Kathi, Joe and Darcy, sisters Sr. Mary Theresa and Rita, brother Fr. Eamon, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Joe and Fr. John and his sister Sr. Eileen.

At the wishes of the family and in keeping with government advice and HSE guidelines, a private funeral mass will take place on Saturday morning in the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery in Sutton.
