The death has occurred of
Michael J. (Mickey) DUFFY
DUFFY, Michael J. (Mickey) Central Park, Mullingar December 10. 2018 following an illness fought with great fortitude and dignity in the tender and loving care of the wonderful staff and nurses at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar. Much loved husband and soulmate of Dilly, loving father of Tom, Mary (Finnerty), Gerry, Catherine (McAndrew) and Dorothy (Munnelly), adored granddad of Mark, Andrew, Lucy, Rebecca, Gerry, Juliana, Rory, Penny and Timmy. He will be dearly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, sister Phil (Sherry), brother Tom (Sutton) sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his wide circle of friends and his fellow members of the British Legion.
May Mickey rest in peace.
Reposing at Shaw's Funeral Home, Mullingar on Wed. Dec. 12. from 3 o'c until 6 o'c, concluding with prayers at 6.30 o'c. Funeral Mass in The Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar on Thurs. morning at 10 o'c followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to The North Westmeath Hospice.
