On December 27, 2024, Michael passed away surrounded by his loving family in Waterford in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Eileen, grandson Daniel and most recently by his partner Marie Mulryan, parents John and Elizabeth and siblings Peter, Sean, Terry, Fabian, Kathleen, Bridie, Agnes and Sr.Theresa.

Deeply mourned by his children Angela Smith, Michelle Gill, Gerard, Michael, Peter, Anthony, Elizabeth and Theresa Kilgannon, also by his sons-in-law Dennis, Albert and Simon, daughters-in-law Diane, Ursula, Carol and Rebecca, brother Cyril, sister Bernadette and by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral Arrangements

 

Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue on New Years Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 4 p.m. with Removal to the Church at 5.30 p.m. Please note that the new entrance to the funeral parlour for Reposing is through the Church (H91FH52).

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael on New Years Day, Wednesday, 01 January 2025 at 11 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore alongside his wife Eileen. Livestream Link for Mass: https://www.churchtv.ie/mervue/
