MICHAEL JAMES CORRIGAN

The death has occurred of Michael James Corrigan, Derreens, Achill, Co. Mayo, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne at Galway University Hospital on 3rd September 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Theresa and his sister Breege Ann Donnelly. He will be deeply mourned by his sister Mary (Sweeney), and brother Tommie, his brother-in-law Declan and sister-in-law Marian, nieces Lucinda, Tara, Derina, Sonia and Olivia, his nephews Emmet, Andrew and Shane. He will be fondly missed by his extended family, many neighbours and a wide circle of friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Toby.

Reposing in Lavelle’s Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill Island(F28 YO H9) on Friday evening 6th September from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Home will be open on Saturday morning at 11am for viewing with removal at 12noon to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Derreens for Requiem Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in Glencoe Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Galway or Mayo Hospice.
