Michael James DEANE

The death has occurred of Michael James Deane, Derreenargon, Keadue, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, May 26th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his devoted wife and family and in the dedicated and tender care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents John and May, brother Tony and son-in-law Patrick.

 

Michael James will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Vera, son John-Cristopher (U.K.), daughters Anna, Eithne, Martina (Moffatt), Monica (Gaffney), Siobhán (Spellman) and Majella (Webb), sister Chris (Malone) daughter-in-law Theresa, sons-in-law Kevin, Aiden and Seán, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, his twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Wednesday evening, (May 28th) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal from his home to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumboylan, on Thursday morning (May 29th) to arrive for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.

 

House strictly private. Family, close friends and neighbours only please.

 

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Intensive Care Unit, Sligo University Hospital.
