Michael (Joe) Lee
Michael (Joe) Lee, Retired Garda Superintendent, Cavan / Monaghan District, "Glenveagh ", Stragelliffe, Cavan. Thursday, May 19th 2022, peacefully at home in the loving arms of his family. Predeceased by his dearest wife Rose and deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, Rosaleen (Andrew), Michael (Eileen), Noel (Frances), John (Mags), Caitríona (Martin) and Deirdre (Edward), his nineteen grandchildren and new great-grandchild. His sisters , Mary (Athenry) and Ann (France). A long life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
Private reposal at his home for family, relatives, neighbours and close friends. Reposing in the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan (H12C821), on Saturday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. This will be a walk through only with no hand shaking and face masks to be worn please. Michael's remains will leave his home in Stragelliffe on Monday morning at 11.30am and will travel to St. Aidan's Church, Butlersbridge for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in St.Aidan's Cemetery. The Lee family would like to thank you all for your understanding and cooperation at this very difficult time.
