Michael Joe Mullins

On April 26th, 2025, peacefully in his 95th year in the presence of his loving family in the wonderful care of staff at Bantry General Hospital. MICHAEL JOE, beloved husband of the late Patricia, dear father of Teresa (O’Sullivan) and Noel, son of the late Peter and Eily, brother of Aidan, John, Tommy and the late Brendan. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Padraig and Noel’s partner Liz, grandchildren Paul, Lorraine, John, Sarah, Liam, Brian, David and Martin, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, kind neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday April 27th, from 5.30pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday April 28th, at 12 noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital, c/o Bantry General Hospital.
