The death has occurred of
Michael John Hughes
Michael John Hughes, Castlesampson, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, Inchicore, Dublin and Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone, Saturday, March 6th 2021 peacefully, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Anne (Nancy), brother Paddy and sisters Bridie and Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving son Eoin, daughter in law Sarah-Jane, grandchildren Megan and Ryan, nephew, niece, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.
In keeping with current government guidelines, Michael John's funeral will be private to family only.
The funeral cortége will leave St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell on Monday, March 8th at 5.30 o'clock (via The Bog Road and Castlesampson) to arrive at St Ronan's Church, Taughmaconnell at 6 o'clock. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, March 9th at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
