The death has occurred of
Michael John Shaughnessy
Shaughnessy, Michael John, Tawin, Oranmore, Co. Galway. May 23rd, 2021. Peacefully after an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his brother P.J. and his parents. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, his sons Martin, Michael, Peter and Johnnie, his daughters Michelle, Joan, Sharon and Sarah, their partners and grandchildren, his brother Tom, sisters Brid, Kathleen and Siobhan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace
Removal from his home on Wednesday morning for Mass at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Maree. Burial afterwards in Ballinacourty Cemetery. Mass will be broadcast live on parish radio on 105.3 fm. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice. Family flowers only. In accordance with current Government guidelines, a private funeral will take place for Michael John for immediate family only. Anyone who wishes to do so are invited to leave a message of condolence for the family in the condolences section below.
