Michael Lally (Mike)

Michael Lally (better known as Mike), Muings, Barnatra, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar in his 98th Year surrounded by his loving family on 3rd April 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Anne (née Conroy), brother john, sister Mary Murphy and infant grandson Ronán.

Mike will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his devoted wife Kathleen (née Deane), cherished sons Anthony, Michael Joe, Patrick, John Martin and Dermot, daughters Maureen, Kathleen and Angela, treasured grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Mike will lie in repose at McDonnell's Funeral Home, Belmullet on Easter Sunday afternoon from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock. Remains will arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle on Easter Monday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on Monday at 12 noon on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other services available for viewing on Monday evening at 7 o’clock.
