Michael Lawton

Michael Lawton Melbourne, Australia, formerly of Burrane, Timoleague, Co Cork. Michael passed away peacefully on March 17th 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Michael, son of the late Con and Kitty Lawton and brother of the late John and Ann (nee Coughlan). Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Harrington, Castletownbeare) and dear father of Paul, Fiona and Mark. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Derry and Chris.

 

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Sheila (nee Cashman), brothers Tony and Tim, daughters-in-law Narelle and Megan, son-in-law Jerry, his adored 9 grandchildren Bridget, Matthew, Conor, Cornelius, Bailey, Amie, Declan, Mitchell and Emma, brother-in-law to Ita, Theresa, Ita, Ger, Fr Denis, Bishop Padraig, Maura, Nuala, and Clare, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reception into the Church of St Mary's, Greensborough, Victoria, Australia, Thursday 26th for Requiem Mass at 11am AEDT.
