Michael passed unexpectedly from this life in Galway University Hospital on Monday 19th May 2025 surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Helen, his brothers Walter and Anthony and sister Helen.

Michael will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Frances (Ortega), his children, Lee, Mikey, Gary, Derek, Joanna, Sean, James, Jody and Russell and their mother Valerie, Frances' children Hilary, Isah Josie and Rivers, daughter-in-laws, son-in-law, his children's partners, his grandchildren Caitlin, Cillian, Leighton, Olivia and Harry, his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, his best friend Mark, neighbours, work colleagues and friends.

Michael will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Funeral Home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Friday 23rd May from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service for Michael in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm on Saturday 24th May.
