Michael Mc Donagh

The death has occurred of Michael McDonagh of Dressogue, Athboy, Co. Meath. Michael died peacefully in St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown. Predeceased by his parents John and Betty. Michael is sadly missed by his loving family; his beloved wife Sheila; sons Michael (and his partner Kevin) and Sean (and his partner Maria); daughters Julie and Lisa; son-in-law Barry; grandchildren Shane, Ronan, Ciara, Fiadh and Thomas; brothers Sean, Richard, Hugh and Joe; sister Ann; brother-in-law; sister-in-law; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence in Dressogue (C15 YE29) on Wednesday at 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning leaving his residence arriving for Funeral Mass in St. James’ Church in Athboy at 11am followed by burial in St James’ Cemetery in Athboy.

Michael’s family would like to take this opportunity to give a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown and Meath Palliative Care for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Michael throughout his illness.
