Michael Mc KEON

The death has occurred of Michael Mc Keon, Deerpark, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. August 19th 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary-Ann, his brothers Pat, Eoin and Fr. John Mc Keon, brothers-in-law Johnny O’ Mahoney and Joe Beirne, Jim Mc Tiernan, sisters-in-law Margaret Casey and Pauline Sheridan, his nephew Niall Beirne and grandniece Niamh Flanagan.

 

Michael will be sadly missed by his loving wife Myra (née Mc Tiernan), son Seán, daughters Yvonne Shannon, Jacinta Kerins, and Majella Gaffney, sons-in-law Gerry, Bernard, and Cathal, daughter-in-law Cynthia, his brothers Frank and Tom, his sisters Kathleen, Maureen, Bridie, his grandchildren Gerard, Yvette, Ultan, Sarah, Rebecca, Clodagh, Melissa, Alena, and Kelvin, great-grandson Thomas, his cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and his many friends.

Reposing at Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle (F52 ND23) on Thursday evening (21st August) from 4 p.m. until 6.30 pm. followed by removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, arriving 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning (August 22nd) at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery.
