Michael McAvock

Michael (Mickey) McAvock, Rathoma, Killala, Co Mayo; peacefully in the wonderful care of the Intensive Care Unit, Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by his family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Predeceased by his father Michael, and deceased family members of the McAvock and Foody families.

Lovingly remembered by his mother Mary Loftus, stepdad Padraic, sisters Agnes, Ann-Marie, and Margaret; nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, Mullafarry Quarry work colleagues, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lynns Funeral home, Killala on Saturday from 4pm to 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday in the Church of The Sacred Heart, Kilfian, at 11 0’c, followed by burial in Kilfian cemetery.

House private please, and donations in lieu of flowers to the Intensive Care Unit , Mayo University Hospital.
