Michael McBride

Michael McBride, Glengad, Pullathomas, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Culloville, Co. Monaghan peacefully after a short illness at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar surrounded by his loving family on 26th March 2026.

Predeceased by his parents James and Cecelia McBride and sisters Nan, Rosie and Madge.

Beloved husband to Mary, cherished father to Collette Wilson (Brian), Darren (Sinéad), Rachel (Peter) and Micheál (Margaret Ann) and loving grandfather to Ezra, Ben, Caitlin, Lily, James, Josh, Ryan and Jack. Beloved brother to Gene (Leeds), Kathleen (U.S.A.), Jimmy (Monaghan) and Pat (Louth), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Michael will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday afternoon from 2 o’clock until 5 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Inver on Monday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Pullathomas New Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Monday afternoon at 1 ‘o clock with all other services available for viewing on Monday evening at 7 o’clock.
