Michael McCarthy

Michael passed away peacefully in the wonderful, tender care of the staff in I.C.U. University Hospital Kerry surrounded by his loving family. He is deeply mourned by his heartbroken wife Sheila, his sons Kieran, Paul and Micheál, daughters Eileen, Mary, Anna-Marie and Martina, his daughters-in-law Fidelma, NoraAnn and Samantha, his sons-in-law Dave Kivlehan, Dave Kenny and Patrick O'Sullivan and his nine much loved grandchildren Óisín, Seán, Saoirse, Rónán, Clodagh, Matthew, Áine, Siobhéal and Caolán. He will be sadly missed by his sister Dorothy Moynihan (Rathmore), his brothers John (Cork), Denis (Dublin), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Eileen, his sister Breda O'Sullivan and his brothers Patrick and Thomas.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Cathedral Place, Killarney, on Monday evening from 4.30pm to 6.30pm followed by Removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 10.30am, burial afterwards in Killarney Burial Grounds. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral House strictly private. Family flowers only by request.
