Michael McGarry

The death has occurred of Michael McGarry, Rinashinna, Castlebar and formerly of Ballynew, Castlebar, peacefully at Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home, Castlebar in his 93rd year on Sunday 11th December 2022.

Predeceased by his parents Nora and John and his sister Maureen (UK).

Dearly loved husband of Maureen (née Nealon) and loving father of Fiona, Emer and Niall, loving grandad of Naoise and Max.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, son-in-law Michael Horkan and daughter-in-law Sarah Hennessy and Fiona's partner Ronan Burke, his sisters  Bridie (UK) and Gabrielle (Canada), his sisters-in-law Teresa and Monica, his nieces, cousins,  grandnieces, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing in Kilcoyne's Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Tuesday 13th December 2022 from 11.00am. Arriving at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Afterwards Michael will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road,  Castlebar. You can view the Mass on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or it can be listened to on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3M.
