Michael McGlade
McGlade, Michael - R.I.P. 21 Longfield Road, Lislea, BT35 9TU. 8th January 2026, peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital.Beloved husband of the late Shelia and devoted father of Paul, Cathal, Michael, Majella and Donal.
Michael's remains will be removed from McGennity;s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill road, Newry, BT35 8LZ this afternoon (Friday 9th January) at 1.30pm to his family home at 21 Longfield Road, Lislea, BT35 9TU where friends and family are welcome to visit between 2pm-9pm (each day) today (Friday 9th January), tomorrow (Saturday 10th January) and Sunday (11th January). Michael's remains will be removed from his home on Monday morning (12th January), arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Lislea. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's cemetery, Mullaghbawn. House private on Monday morning please.
Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Very deeply regretted by his sons, daughter, grandchildren Aislinn, Rose, Erin, Ella, Niamh and Sadhbh, brother Patsy, friends and the wider family circle.
