Peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of Bernadette (née Sands) and cherished father of Stephen, Michael, Carol, Róisín & Bláthnaid and the late Karen. Predeceased by his father Michael and mother Ellen McKevitt. Devoted grandad of Darcy and Erin, dearest brother of Patsy, Irene, Tom and Vincent. Michael will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, wider family circle and friends.

In accordance with Government guidelines in relation to the current level 5 restrictions, Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only. The funeral cortege will leave Michael’s home in Beech Park on Tuesday morning at 10.30 a.m. (via Main Street, Blackrock) arriving for funeral Mass at 11.00am in St. Fursey’s Church, Chapel Road, Haggardstown.

 

 

 

HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE AT ALL TIMES

 

 

 

 

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave your personal message in the section below marked “condolences”.

 

 

Michael’s family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of St. James’ Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in particular the Palliative Care Team & The Irish Cancer Society, Dundalk Medical Centre and McQuillan’s Pharmacy Blackrock.
