Michael passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family in Mallow General Hospital on Friday, July 11th, 2025.

 

Beloved husband of Julia (née Culloty), much loved father of Brendan, Pat, Stephen, Michelle (Crowley) and Ellen (O'Leary), cherished grandfather to Rachel, Aisling, Mirren, Ryan, Noah, Finn, Ava, Darragh and Dylan.

 

Dear brother of Mary Buckley, Eily Heffernan, Kathleen Bowles, Sheila Barrett, Ann Sweeney, Patricia Ryan, Paddy Joe, Gerard, Anthony and the late Seamus and Patsy.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, daughters--in-law Noreen and Kathleen, sons-in-law Derek and Malcolm, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant (P51 N2NP) on Saturday evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into St. Nicholas' Church, Churchtown on Sunday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am, after which Michael will be laid to rest in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Buttevant.

 

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Mallow Generral Hospital and the HSE Carers for their care of Michael.
