Michael ( Mick) Aherne

Mick passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Eileen (nee O'Brien) and much loved father of Willie. Proud Grandfather to Michael, Sarah, Emma, Leah and James. Dear brother of Ena, Joe and the late Liam and Mary (Peters). Mick will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Eileen, Willie, daughter in law Deirdre, grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful carers, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at O'Callaghan's Funeral Chapel Ballyclough on Sunday from 6.30 pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Reception into St John the Baptist Church Ballyclough on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon which shall be live streamed on www.churchcamlive.ie/ballyclough. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
