Michael "Mick" Canavan
of Carrig Court, Rathnew,
Co. Wicklow.
Who passed away peacefully on Thursday 5th March 2026 at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his family and close friends.
Predeceased by his parents James and Nellie and his best friend Tommy. Sadly missed by his brothers James, Martin, Jason and Paul, and their wives and partners. Nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, especially his "bar crew".
Michael will be reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Monday evening 9th March from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.
Removal Tuesday morning at 11.00am to McCrea's Chapel in the adjoining building for Funeral Service for all those who wish to attend.
For those unable to attend the Service can be viewed by clicking on McCrea'sChapel (viewing at time of service only) followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.(walking from Doyle's 'pub Rathnew).
