Michael (Mick) CAREY

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Michael (Mick) Carey, Clonboy, Bridgetown, Co. Clare peacefully in St. John's Hospital surrounded by his loving family on the 10th January 2026.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret (neé Wallace) Ballintubber Co. Limerick, parents Michael and Delia, brothers Paddy and Tim, sister Anne and grandchild Baby Denis.

Deeply missed by his heartbroken family, son Michael, daughter Maria, daughter-in-law Rose (Quinn) Cratloe, son-in-law John (Barrett), adored grandchildren Margaret, Sophie and Beauden, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mick will repose in St Thomas's Church, Bridgetown on Monday, 12th January from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 13th January at 11am followed by burial in the church grounds.
