Michael (Mick) Cloney

Michael (Mick) (Retired Garda Sergeant), passed away peacefully at his home in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty, dear father of Michael, Paul, Damian, Martina and the late Patrick, much loved grandfather of Sarah, David, Eoghan, Darragh, Ciarán, Niall, Maeve, Jack and Gabriella, great-grandad to Amelia.  Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, family, daughters-in-law Anna-Marie and Annamarie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues and friends. 

Rest in Peace

At the family’s request, Mick will repose at Ronayne's Funeral Home, Fermoy, Wednesday 6pm – 8pm for family and friends.  Reception into St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy, Thursday, for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to Kilcrumper new cemetery.  UNDER HSE guidelines, social distancing will be strictly adhered to, no handshaking, no hugging.

Michael’s Funeral Mass will be lived streamed on Ronayne Funeral Directors Facebook and on www.fermoyparish.ie/funeral 

For those wishing to pay their respects Mick's funeral cortege at 1.30.pm. Thursday will travel via The Close, Dun Eala, Duntaheen Road, Cork Road to St. Patrick's Church and afterwards via Mc Curtin Street, Patrick Street, Knellar Villas, Mill Road, O'Neill Crowley Quay, Brian Boru Square, Oliver Plunlett Hill, Dublin Road to Kilcrumper new cemetery.
