Michael (Mick) Connery, Avondale Cottage, Dunnamaggin, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Sunday, 5th January 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Nancy Butler, his brothers Dick, Sonny and Robert and also Bridget Whitehead (née Connery).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his wife Liz (McCarthy), his children Michael Jnr, Séan, Sarah and Caroline, brothers Tim, Jimmy, Liam, Martin and Peter, sisters Mary (O’Shea), Angela, Ann and Mary (Pilgrim), daughters-in-law Vicky and Amy, Sarah’s partner Patrick, Caroline’s partner Lucas, grandchildren Luisa, Ana and Emma, Adam, Liam and Oisin, Sonny and Féilim, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Wednesday, 8th January 2025 from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm.

Funeral arriving to St. Eoghan's Church, Kilmoganny on Thursday, 9th January for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilmoganny Cemetery.
