Michael Davitt, Simonstown, Gaybrook, Mullingar, Co Westmeath, (ex Bord Na Mona), Mick in his 92nd year, passed away (peacefully) in the excellent care of Brother John and staff at St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan with his heartbroken family by his side. Pre-deceased (recently) by his beloved wife Maire, parents Peter and Ellen, daughter Jacinta (Milmoe), infant son Gerard, sister Molly, brothers Peter and Francis. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his daughter Olive (Tanner), sons Peter, Richard and Michael, sons-in-law Jason and Brian, daughters-in-law Suzanne and Danna, Michael's partner Caroline, his cherished and adored grandchildren Seán, Ryan, Sinéad, Nicole, Stacey, Eoin, Leo, Jack, Megan, Brandon, Anju, Rhiannon, Cathal and David, sister-in-law Nora (Dunne), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, his good friend Patsy Corcoran, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May Mick's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at John Healy's Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge (N91 R291) on Friday 13th December 2024 from 5pm until 6.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge to arrive for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in Meedin cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to St Camillus Nursing Centre. Donation box at the Chapel of Rest.
