The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Duggan, Cragg, Birdhill, on March 31st, 2026. Predeceased by his parents, sisters Margaret (Peggy) and Kathleen, and brothers Matthew, Martin and Donal. Beloved husband of Betty and adored dad of Matthew, David, John, Jeanette, Michael and Paul. Cherished grandad to Matt Jr., Cailin, Callum, Lili, Emily, Fionn, Tomás, Muireann, Meibhín and much loved step grandad to Sinéad. Sadly missed by his son-in-law Declan, and by his daughters-in-law Katie, Mary and Grace. Survived by his sister Mary and his brother John, nephews, nieces, extended family, close friends and neighbours.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Thursday 2nd April from 5:30pm to 7.30pm. Arrival on Friday 3rd April to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport for Prayer service at 11:30 am, which can be viewed on www.churchcamlive.ie/newportbirdhillandtoor. Burial afterwards in Rockvale Cemetery, Newport.
