Michael (Mick) Farrell

Formerly Newtowncashel, Co. Longford.

Michael (Mick) passed away peacefully on 6th April 2026, surrounded by his family, under the excellent care of the staff at Wexford General Hospital.

Devoted husband of Therese and beloved father of Aoife and Ruairi. Dearly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Linda, Aoife's partner Tash, his adored grandchildren Lucy and Jack and his lifelong friends Ann and Tom.

Predeceased by his sister Liz and brother Peter, fondly remembered by his siblings Sr. Antoinette, Martha, Paddy and Phil and all his nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-inlaw, caring neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Macken's Funeral Home, Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35 HP29 on Thursday, 9th April, from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm.

Removal shall take place on Friday morning, 10th April, to St. Ibar's Church, Castlebridge, for Funeral Mass at 11.00 am, followed by burial afterwards in St. Ibar's Cemetery, Castlebridge.
