The death has occurred of
Michael (Mick) HEAPES
Michael (Mick) Heapes of Pearse House, Dublin 2 and formerly of O’Rahilly House, Ringsend, Dublin 4, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, on Tuesday 23rd September, 2025, in the loving arms of his family, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, following a very short illness.
Adored husband of Bernie, devoted father of Michael and Ciara, father-in-law of Tanya, treasured Grandad of Kacey, Lee, Tayden and Leanna, brother-in-law of Mary, Joan, Martina, Christine (Dec’d) and Baby Donna Marie (Dec’d), Mick, Kevin and John and a much loved uncle and cousin. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, golfing pals and colleagues at St. Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Christina and parents-in-law Bernard and Ellen O’Sullivan.
Reposing at his daughter’s home on Tuesday (Sept.30) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. House private at all other times please. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (Oct.1) at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Ringsend, followed by Committal Service at 12.15pm in The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome.
